Static cling decals are made of a white or clear vinyl material, about 8 mil in thickness. For large static cling decals and odd shapes you can use a squirt water bottle. Fill the bottle with water and add a small amount a mild dish washing liquid. Moisten the surface thoroughly and lay the decal on the surface.
You should now be able to slide the decal in the position of your choice. You will now need to push out the excess water. A squeegee of smooth stiff plastic card will do. Be sure not to scratch the decal when squeezing the water out.
